Eight people hurt in crash at Norwich train station – Eastern Daily Press

An investigation has been launched after eight people were injured following a crash involving two trains in Norwich overnight.

The crash happened at Norwich Railway Station at about 12.20am today and was described by the British Transport Police as a “low speed collision between two trains at the station”.

Rail maintenance worker killed – Local – The Star

 RAIL worker from South Yorkshire has been killed after being struck by a train.

The 26-year-old man, believed to be from Doncaster, was struck by a Northern Rail Scunthorpe to Lincoln service, which had previously called at Doncaster and Sheffield, at 1.55pm today at Saxilby, near Lincoln.

British Transport Police and the Rail Accident Investigation Branch are investigating the collision.
