Liverpool hotel firm Signature Living are set to face a trial later this year after pleading not guilty to a raft of food hygiene charges brought by the city council.

The company – owned and run by chairman Lawrence Kenwright – will fight the charges, which relate to the Titanic-themed 30 James Street Hotel in the city centre.

In court today, the company’s legal team entered not guilty pleas to seven separate counts –  with a trial date set for later in the year.
