Ex-police officer receives life-changing cancer diagnosis from ‘asbestos at Hull stations’ – Hull Live

A retired East Yorkshire police officer is appealing to his former colleagues for help after being diagnosed with a life-changing asbestos-related cancer.

Graham Jackson, 73, of Hedon, was diagnosed with mesothelioma, a cancer that affects the lining of the lungs and is often caused by asbestos exposure, in November last year.

The former police constable worked for Humberside Police from 1962 until 2000 and is now asking anyone who used to work with him to come forward with information about their working conditions.
