The eateries across Eastbourne, Hastings, Rother, Wealden and Lewes areas have managed to score 2 or lower in their latest 2019 examinations.
Environmental health officers do routine checks on all premises where food is served.
These officials are employed by district and borough councils.
The inspectors scrutinise the kitchen, how food is stored and general cleanliness and maintenance of the premises, before giving feedback and offering a rating ranging from zero to five stars.
