Carbour Tools came to be in 2010 after a discussion about the difficulty of finding contractor grade tools that could stand up to the rigor of a hard day’s work. We have grown and changed over the years, but our relentless focus on offering carefully selected saw blades, tools, and accessories continues to this day. We understand that failure is not an option in construction, so we only carry tested, tried, and true products built tough enough for the hardest worker on the job site.

Dave Lefevre and Shawn Macpherson started The Checker in 2000 with the mission of helping businesses and other organizations conduct audits and inspections more effectively and efficiently.
The roots of The Checker go back to 1989, when Dave and Shawn founded Devtra, Inc. to provide training and consulting across a range of industries, with a focus on helping clients improve operations, material handling, maintenance, safety, and compliance.
It became clear that audits and inspections were not being adequately performed in most organizations. Audits and inspections were either not done at all or done haphazardly and inefficiently.
So Dave and Shawn created The Checker inspection checklist books, which have been used by enterprises of all sizes and types to conduct more than 20 million audits and inspections throughout North America. These books help organizations establish audit/inspection processes that are consistent, organized, and effective.
Dave and Shawn’s efforts have culminated in The Checker Software, a powerful tool that enables organizations to develop a comprehensive, systematic audit/inspection program. Offered as SaaS, The Checker Software can be used to audit or inspect virtually anything, so it can be used to meet the needs of organizations of any type, in any industry.
Since the inception of The Checker, the importance of audits and inspections has become more widely understood, but inadequate audit/inspection management is still a common problem. The Checker is the solution.

One of the main objectives of our forklift instruction is to produce proficient and safe operators. Therefore, all of our courses begin with Health and Safety and an operator’s responsibility in the workplace, as advised by the HSE.
All of our lessons are delivered in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere by experienced and qualified instructors who have had comprehensive training in instructional techniques and skills assessment. Our instructors appreciate that a few days of training has to prepare their trainees for a lifetime of operator training, therefore, to achieve a high standard of training they stretch and challenge their learners to get the best out of them.
Each learner is encouraged to be trained as certified as quickly as possible and so our instructors are happy to go the extra mile with any additional help and support that may be required. Whilst we do our best to ensure all trainees pass our courses, it is also our belief that forklift training shouldn’t be just about passing a test but readying operators for day-to-day forklift use.
Founded by Henrique (Henry) Losada in 1998 with the purpose to be able to provide Health and Safety Training to the Hispanic workers in Central Florida.
Serving Florida for over 20 years, teaching numerous of OSHA 10 and 30 hour and MSHA Part 46 New and Refresher training for Spanish only speakers.
As a Safety professional, I possess over 25 years of progressive experience in Safety Management with a sustained record of success providing solutions for integral parts of Health and Safety.
