Carl Delaney workplace death: Two Darwin companies charged

Two construction companies have been charged over the workplace death of 56-year-old Carl Delaney in the Northern Territory.
Mr Delaney was working for subcontractor Whittens Group at INPEX’s Ichthys Project and was carrying out insulation repair works on an LNG (liquified natural gas) tank when he died on November 29, 2017.
NT Worksafe said he fell while inside the tank and was engulfed by insulation and suffocated about 8pm.
