"These contractors were doing work in a house and
left this circular bench saw on the road. The power cable was
trailing across the public path, there was rubbish and wood with
nails on the public path forcing pedestrians to move onto the road
between the rubbish and the bench saw. The power was connected to
the saw. Look at the gap between the blade and the guard. All of
this was at the bottom of a road and 300 yards from a primary school
at 1430hrs, the school finishes at 1500hrs and non of the companies
employees were in sight".
The contributor of these photos, resolved the matter
by talking to the contractors onsite [when he found them]
and by talking to the companies head office, they were concerned
about the guard, but had no real concern about a table top saw left
switched on and unattended in a busy public area by a school.
